AAGEF Ontario Transport / Infrastructure panel

On aug 30th, 2017, we had a great panel with the following experts :

• Xavier Fenaux  (ESTP), P3 Projects Director at Colas Canada
• Baudouin Nizet (Solvay), Former President & CEO at CRH Canada Group
• Fabrice Banctel ( Centrale Supelec ) , Toronto Project Engineering Manager, Alstom Transport
• Mathieu Goetzke ( X, Ponts, Stanford ), Former Co-Deputy City Manager in charge of Urban Quality and Development, City of Lille

We learned a lot about this industry and how they are shaping the future of transport in Canada and in Toronto. Private Public Partnerships are the way projects are financed and a good way to deliver on time and budget ( road : 20 million dollars / km, surface rail : 100 million dollars / km, subway : 300 million dollars / km ). Xavier Fenaux even presented a new sustainable solar road sample ( see below ) Thank you Francois Blanc, our Polytechnique Manager for organizing
