On March 27, 2013, Jean-François Béland, a graduate of the Université de Montréal (B.Sc.),l’École Nationale d’Administration Publique (MPA and graduate diploma in public administration), l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (graduate diploma in management), Bordeaux Business School (MBA) and l’Université Paris IX Dauphine (M.Sc. Strategic Management), was our keynote speaker. He joined AREVA Canada in August 2008 after spending a year at AREVA’s global headquarters in Paris. Prior to that time, Jean-François worked in the Canadian public service and in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, where he served as Policy Advisor on Treasury Board and Governance issues.
He presented Areva and its activities in Canada. He explained how AREVA Canada specializes in uranium exploration, mining, and milling in Canada.
