On march 30th, Romain Trapp, ENS and Stanford alumnus, CEO Airbus helicopters, was AAGEF Ontario keynote speaker, brillantly introduced by Guillaume Dupriez , AAGEF Ontario Arts et Metiers Paris Tech manager. A very interesting presentation about this 7 billion euros division of Airbus. Romain emphasized on how the company went from a outsider position to a leader position in North America with a 45% marketshare. Some of the learnings : customer focus and manufacturing in North America. Full presentation below. It was also the opportunity for Gilles Chatelain, ESSEC, VP of AAGEF Ontario, to offer a prize to our attendee number 3,000, Matthieu Terray, ESCP Europe, VP Finance at Tractel. We had a record participation from INSEAD with 11 alumni ( record for INSEAD ) . We also had the pleasure to welcome the Presidents of Columbia alumni in Toronto, Maureen Shaw, as well as the president of ESADE alumni in Toronto, Pilar Fuertes-MacKinnon, both members of IUCT ( International Universities Club of Toronto ) with other prestigious American and European universities ( AAGEF Ontario is also member of IUCT ).
